Our Evening Snack

Did anyone say Monkey Bread?

My daughter, Madison, has been begging to make monkey bread.

So I went on line and found an easy recipe for us to try!

We made a half batch, so we used a loaf pan instead of our bundt pan.

Doesn't that look yummy!

Of course, we had to set a colorful table!

And we just had to use the "special" plate ...

What would monkey bread be without some ice cold milk!

Hot from the oven...

Aren't these napkins just cute? My Mom brought them back from a trip to Asia!

We saved you a piece!
Thank you for joining me for Tablescape Thursday.
Thank you to Susan our gracious host at Between Naps on the Porch.

How very cool! We love monkey bread in our house. It is so fun to pull off the pieces. You have elevated it to elegant with that lovely table setting.

Dee Dee, Looks like you have a little helper in the kitchen! How wonderful to have a little snack together. Love her up, they grow up way too fast!!!!!
I also have the "special plate". It has seen many great report cards, birthdays, bad days, accolades... Now when the kids come home we still use it. God bless your family and happy Thanksgiving. What a lovely post!

Half a batch? I could eat that much all by myself! It looks like a wonderful time with your daughter. My daughter and I started cooking together when she was about 2. She'd pull up a chair and watch. She's a great little cook at 25...something most of her friends can't claim. Your table looks lovely.
