Before you know it...
they grow up.
They find things they like... in this case gelato.
And have to be free to make choices...
Just like Dad, too!
Before you know it...
another spring break has come and gone.
And before we know it..
it will only be Wayne and me.
Before we knew it...
Zac turned 18!
And Madison found a new skill
with archery!
Taking first place in a local meet!
And before you know it...
Madison gets hired on for a summer job
at our local amusement park
Kings Island!
Before you know it...
the kitchen is full of Madison
and her friends...
baking up a storm!
And before we knew it
the trees in the orchard needed trimmed
to prepare for another harvest!
And before you know it
Zac is off to attend his senior prom.
And it seems like only yesterday...

AMAZING!
Zac is a handsome young man.
And look at Madison...whew!
My heart is so happy for both of your young adults, who are coming into their own.
You and Wayne can sit back now and reap the benefits of your labor.
Love the picture of you two,
Love Birds. Cute!
What a treat . . . To see your family growing up and changing. Loved his!
One letter dropped off changes everything. I meant . . .
Loved THIS . . .
How time flies. So grown up. Thanks for sharing those times. Hugs to everyone! Love and miss you guys.
They do grow fast don't they?
Your post is so beautiful...made me cry to think they grow up like that..toooo fast! I loved the photos of your daughter and her friends baking and of your son heading off to the prom! Wonderful memories for you and your family...and congrats to you daughter on her meet! Cheers to you!
Dee Dee...what a lovely post. I know what you mean...in the blink of an eye your babies are grown people with their own thoughts, dreams, like and dislikes. I just saw the 16 year old son of my best friend from childhood, over 6 foot tall and so mature looking...I remember changing his diapers and the first sentence he ever uttered. I keep trying to hold on to every second of my kids growing up but I know that in the blink of an eye they will both be looking down at their little mommy.
God Bless Dee Dee and enjoy these times your your beautiful teens.

Hi DeeDee; It's been awhile but I didn't think it had been that long!! Just kidding, but the kids really do grow up fast. Be happy that you had those young years with them and look forward to the growing years. They will be filled with good times and good memories to look back on from your wheelchair!! It really does happen that fast!..Happy Thursday..Judy
Oh my...they are growing up fast and I hate to tell you that it just goes faster and faster! However, once you get used to an empty nest (the first weeks are hard) it has its perks!! The pictures are wonderful.
"only be Wayne and me"
will take a little getting used to but will be a great new chapter in your lives.
Before you know it . . .
It's really true how fast they grow. Yesterday my oldest was a baby and this December she'll be 40!
Hey Dee - long time no hear! Hope all is well. Lovely but touchingly sad pst. I know - it all goes so quickly! My husband and I are nearly at the empty nest syndrome ourselves. We had it a little longer than most people. Kids in college years were a bit more staggered. But I know that it can be a sad time for most parents.
Make sure you and Wayne have a lot to do together and separately. That's my advice - ad get back to your blog!!!!
