Your mom sure did visit some beautiful beaches! It's amazing the different colors and textures of beaches. If she came to the Pacific Northwest,it would be rocks in a jar - no sand.
I didn't see this when you posted back in September. What a fabulous idea to showcase all the different sands from around the world. Like Christine mentioned above, it is amazing to see the different colors of sand that can be found around the world. Very cool project!! I think that is such a great idea. I've brought home sand before, but I never leave the country...so mine isn't as colorful!
Thanks for the comment on my dish room. It certainly isn't as fabulous as many, but it was a great way to use space we weren't using anyway. Plus, it is making my husband get rid of a few things!
