Bird Watching Tea #3

The Rose Bird

Today's inspirational bird came not from one outside,
but from this sweet little bird above.
I've never seen a real pink, rose colored bird,
but this little one keeps watch over us daily
in my grandma's bathroom.
I call him the Rose Bird.

Welcome to my Rose Bird Tea!

Of course in honor of the Rose Bird,
we must have roses!

Roses on tea cups...

and on saucers.

Can you find our little visitor?

Ahhh, the romance of candle light!

Mom's petite crystal vase holds the candle!

Roses, what a perfect way to start the Valentine season!

I just love white with pops of pink!

This is Mom's very first teapot!
It was a wedding gift 42 years ago!

The gold rimmed teacup is Wedgwood.
This was a special gift from her sister!

The rose relief tea cup is one Mom fell in love with
one day while out shopping with her sister!

I can see why Mom just had to have it!

Thank you for joining me today.

This is just beautiful. I love grandma's rose bird girl. You have done a wonderful job with these posts. A little inspiration and you know just what to put with it. Your mother has some very pretty things.

What a beautiful tea! I love the colors you are using. Things are so much more tasty when there is a story behind them.
We are getting closer to my husband's departure date. We are just staying busy but today had a real sit down talk, tears....wagging tails....a visit with the pigs. Thank you for stopping by.

This is probably my favorite! I love the delicate pattern of the china and the pretty pink roses.
I live in central Ohio, east of Columbus but I have family around Dayton. What a small world!
Thanks for adding me to your blogroll, you made my day:)

Such a lovely tea setting and what are you brewing today? I love your angel, so sweet and delicate.

If you want to see pink birds, come to Florida. We have plenty of Flamingos. Most are at Busch Gardens, but we do have some in the wild also. Such a delight when you catch a glimpse of a pair flying out of your car window. They mate for life you know, so you always see them together.

Dee Dee,
What a lovely post. I went back and read your other "Bird Watching Tea" posts and they are all truly beautiful. What a creative way to blend two of my favorite things!

I love the teacup with the 3 d rose on it. I believe I have the teapot that matches. I saw it one day while I was at tea and I had to have it. A friend bought it for my birthday so it holds special memories.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment!!
