Art Work Friday

Happy Friday!

I want to personally welcome each blogger today!
Whether you are viewing, participating or both-
I'm so glad you are here!

This week has been crazy, so I thought I'd show
you what's currently being worked on in my
"practice" sketchbook.

This is just an unfinished practice drawing from a photo
that I was working on earlier this week.

It is of my Nona (grandma), Aunt and Cousin.
I apologize about the lighting and glare,
my camera battery died and
I wanted to get something  posted!
Some days are just like that!

If you would like to join me today
please add your link below.

Dee Dee,
What a wonderful "practice" drawing! You continue to amaze me each week with the versatility in your art work.
My son is an avid photographer and I'm going to see if he will let me post one of his photos for Artwork Friday. Hopefully I will be back either tonight or tomorrow a.m. with a post to link.

I am partaking in your wonderful "Art Work Friday", this week Dee Dee.~ I am an artist who paints in several styles and mediums and I am delighted to be invited via the invitation on your blog to partake!

You're work is amazing my dear! You are very talented! If this is your practice drawing, (or "preliminary" drawing); I'd love to see the finished piece!..,

Deanna (which means "valley" or "church leader") thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! I changed what people called me by introducing myself by my middle name and asking all my friends and family to use it. it worked and i'm sooooo glad!!!

You do have talent, Dee Dee! I have no patience for sketching. I erase & start over again & again. Thanks for hosting! Where did this week go?

Faces seem like they would be so difficult and you did it so well.

That is practice? Wow!
If I practiced for years, it wouldn't look anything close to what you can do!
Stick figures is about it for me.
Impressive

Your sketch looks wonderful. I think faces are the hardest thing to draw. I have never attempted them except for a profile or two. I tried drawing flowers at my art class this week... they're hard enough for me! Keep drawing... beautiful work!

This sketch is wonderful. I love when artists give their rendering of a family photo. Last month I included one my son did of my parents dancing from a cruise photo in a Christmas post, stating that it is my favorite gift of all time.

Got side-tracked myself this week when my restored external hard drive finally arrived. But I will participate next week.

I love looking at the artwork. I occassionally dabble in painting. I've listed your party on my blog so that I won't forget! http://bobbypinsboardwalkblogroll.blogspot.com/

DeeDee, about the time you asked about the pigs both Josh and Keelie started barking like crazy. Hamlet and YamYam were out and about in the sun. It is so funny. Your Art Work Friday is a huge success. I have enjoyed everyone's contributions.

Wow DeeDee! You are so talented! I don't know what it's called; pencil art, etching, sketching, but it's my favorite type of art! Good for you! I'm glad you're going to follow along my li'l series, if you're artistic enough to draw, I'm sure you can decorate your home! Lisa
