A Whole Lot of Banging Going On

Bang, Bang, Bang

I never thought I would live to see another dumpster
in the driveway.  The seven we filled during the reno
was more than enough for me!
Thankfully, I'm not the one filling it this time!
I'm leaving this job to the experts!

Now you see it.....

Now you don't!

Gone are the days they have to hand haul the shingles up ladders!

This boon truck took care of the job in no time flat!

By the end of the week, our new roof will be installed!
And more importantly, no more leaks!

To be continued.....

Yeah for you my friend! I remember 30 some years ago my dad and brother hauling shingles up on the roof of our home. Terrible job...these guys have got it made!!! Looking forward to seeing the new roof! I love your white home with the black shuters...classic! Our home is white with a red brick but we have the "stuck in the '80's beigey copper color roof with heather blue shutters! Yuk!

Hope you had a wonderful mother's day and enjoy a super week!

A new roof is like buying a beige bra! Not that exciting but very necessary, especially if it's leaking! It's gonna look great when it's done.

Hi DeeDee: That's a big job. When you have a roof installed you think, Oh, that will be good for a looooong time. Well that time came faster than you thought didn't it? We are having a few loose shingles so will be following soon..But I think staying dry outweighs all the rest of it..Happy Tuesday..Judy

No more leaks is a good thing and not doing it yourself is even better :)

How exciting! Several of our neighbors have gotten new roofs and I'm always amazed to see how quickly they do it! fun to see another angle of your home too : )

We've only had to put a new roof on one house, so far. That is a costly redo isn't it? I actually hope that we sell this house before we have to make that investment! They do look nice when they are done...and no leaking is a good thing:)
