Lowfat Caramel Apple

I have a sweet tooth!
So, when I attempt to eat healthy,
I try to be creative!


I love apples!



I core and cube a small apple.


Next comes my secret ingredient....


Ghirardelli Caramel Sauce!


Just a little drizzle on top....


Makes the perfect "sweet" snack!

Good idea . . . I love apples too and even though they are a bit more expensive a Honey Crisp Apple satisfies my sweet cravings . . . (unless I am lusting for chocolate.) Smile

OMGosh...I never knew Ghirardelli had it's own caramel! Yum. I am on an apple kick too right now only I put on boring old cinnamon. Yours is much more attractive Dee Dee! Hope you are enjoying a beautiful Sunday!!!

I'm doing some healthy eating around here too and my morning snack is an apple and a piece of string cheese. I had no idea Ghiradelli had sauces, where did you find it?

That is awesome! I'm on a diet (again) and I'll definitely give this a try! Caramel would taste good on tennis shoes to me Haha! I would have to put that bottle of drizzle in a very safe place that I don't know about. YUM! Have a great day friend :-)
