Accountability

Teresa over at Teresa D Boyd
stated that her challenge for the
was to draw more.
Inspired,
I commented to her that I wanted
to paint more!

Last year I painted bunnies....
and we all know that bunnies like to...
multiply!
This little one was for my mom!
This one went to my dear friend Christine!
I did another mini one for my Aunt,
but can't seem to find a photo of it!

I guess the bunnies were "busy" again,
because this Christmas one more popped out!
This mini painting was done for my new neighbor
who collects of all things....
bunnies!
Over this past month, I completed 3 more paintings.
"Solitude"
This mini painting has me wishing for "snow"!

My other two painting are gifts
for a friend, so I won't be posting them
till I give them away!

Now I am wondering....
Do sheep multiply as fast as bunnies?

Since I always start with a blank canvas...
I am linking up to Metamorphosis Monday
over at Between Naps On the Porch!

Oh so happy to see you have time to be painting again. (Painting for fun, I mean... not walls.) Hope there is a new one coming for the sun room when you find time. Hint, hint, hint!!!!!

Love, Mom

Dee Dee...

Your bunny paintings are the sweetest things ever!! I want one...you should so do a giveaway if you are at all able to part with one! They are incredibly charming. I really want to take a painting class, I think I would love it! If I could possibly produce anything even a 1/4 as beautiful as yours I would be completely thrilled!

Have a wonderfully inspired week.
So happy we are bloggy friends!

Oh, my, Dee Dee... I am SO impressed! Your bunnies are absolutely adorable! And I love your little snow scene too. I think it's hard to draw a 'cute' bunny, and the ones you drew are adorable. Good for you, you are really talented!
Best,
Gloria

Dee Dee!! You have no idea how happy it makes me to see you creating art again. I just love all your paintings of bunnies, cows, and sheep! :)

Thank you for your kind notes. If you do buy another camera, I've noticed that Sam's Club usually has good prices on some packages with pretty sweet lenses. I wish I had known that before I bought mine.

Someone asked me the other day what talent I wish I had and I said painting. It always seemed as if it would be relaxing and I love color, but we all know about my limited (none) artistic skills! I love all of the bunnies. The winter scene is really wonderful. It almost makes me wish for snow and I don't like real snow!
