This is the day that the Lord has made,
let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Ps 118:24
Last week was an emotional week for me.
My wonderful sister surprised me with this
sweet "Happy Face" flower.
I set it on my kitchen counter next to the sink
and each time I saw it, I smiled!
I am linking to Simple Pleasures over at
A special thankyou to our wonderful hostess Dayle!

Hi Dee Dee,
I just love the yellow flower in the ruby red vase - perfect together! It was lovely of your sister to be there for you during a tough week.

Oh Dee Dee, I pray that this week will be more uplifting!
I just love Gerber Daisies, who can't smile when they look at one!
Blessings!
Awww ... gerber daisies are my mom's favorite flower, and what a beauty you have. I agree with Katie. You can't help but smile when you see one.
Such a joy to have you at the Simple Pleasures party.
it really does look like a happy flower...yellow and full. I'm glad your sister gave you this gift...
I'm glad the "happy face" flower put a smile on your face! Have a beautiful day.

I don't know what it is about a flower that just seems to send the cheerful message. I think that's why we send them/give them.
You have a sweet sister who clearly, understands both YOU and the art of the simple pleasure. What a blessing.
Hi, I'm visiting from the Simple Pleasures party. Your bright, sunshiney flower is lovely...I can certainly understand how it brought a smile to your face.
Blessings,

Hello DeeDee,
When I saw the flower I did smile. Thank you (and your sister) for putting a smile on my face. I hope this week brings you strength.
Many blessings.

Daisies are one of my favorite flowers. They last a long time too... so keep smiling! You should draw it too... ha, ha!
You lovely yellow flower makes me smile as well. Your sister is very thoughtful.
I really think that fresh flowers are a wonderful investment in our mental health. We should have them in our homes all the time...they do create joy!
A very pretty flower that would put a smile on even the saddest face :-)

It's such a beautiful 'simple pleasure'! I love Gerberas, but have never had any 'sunny' ones like this. Thanks for visiting my blog!
