Some Very Sad News

Our baby is sick...
After 2 months,
4 visits to the vet,
x-rays,
blood work,
and
heavy duty pain medication...
our vet now believes that Abby
has a cancerous bone tumor in her shoulder
and her time with us is very limited.

We are truly saddened at this news.
She has been in lots of pain and up till today
we have been able to manage it with medication.
Today has been a harder day,
for her pain wise and for us emotionally.
I am asking for prayer as our family has to
make some very difficult decisions
over the course of the next week.

Sorry for the downer post,
but thank you for allowing me to share.
I do wish you all a very Happy Fourth of July!

Dee Dee, our family just lost our 11 year old Rottie, 2 weeks ago to cancer. It is so hard and they look to us for help and there is nothing that can be done. They become such a part of the family, I will be praying! I know your heart is breaking.

Dee Dee, I know what a difficult decision your family has to make, I had to make the same one just last month for my beloved dog, Sheldon. Everyone was so incredibly supportive, but the loss is still heart-breaking and heart-wrentching. I am so sorry you have to go through this and I wish I had words to comfort you and yours. Do know that you will be in my thoughts and my heart as you all go through this. The comfort I find is in the memories I shared over twelve years with my pup and while I miss him so, I am so glad he let me share his life.

Dee Dee,
My heart goes out to you and your family. We lost Phantom on April 17th,the day before my Dad died. I am sure what ever decision you make it will be the right one for Abby. I know the pain and sorrow you feel... but with time you will look back and know you made a hard decision but the right one. You will never forget her, she is a part of your family.

Lord, I pray for courage, strength and peace for Dee Dee's family. I ask that your put Your arms around them during this trial and comfort them. Lord may they feel your presence and hear your voice. I ask for a special blessing of healing for this family...I ask that they find you and lean on You!...In Jesus' name I pray.

Blessings my friend,
Elaine

I am so sorry DeeDee, we lost our beloved German Shepard 2 years ago to bone cancer. The decision was very hard to let him go but his pain was so great that we couldn't selfishly hold him here. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you.
