What's a girl to do?

Real Simple magazine has a great monthly article they call
New Uses for Old Things.
This article has inpired me to find my own new uses.
Today I want to share a new use for:

old wooden clothespins.

My problem:

a tangle of necklaces overrunning the bottom of my drawer.

I had already tried this:

using a plastic craft divider.
This works great for smaller necklaces, bracelets, etc...
But, the larger necklaces still ended up in a big tangled mess.

So I tried this:

in my bathroom linen closet.

I simply slid the clothes pin backwards through the
top of the metal bar, allowing the bottom to rest
on the front facing horizontal bar.
Ending up with this:

Necklaces that are easy to find and more importantly no tangles!

I only used 1/4 of the shelf allowing me to store the jewelry
without sacrificing access to premium storage!

Thank you for allowing me to share this quick tip today!
I'm posting this to Metamorphosis Monday at

What a creative idea! I was just looking at my wad of tangled necklaces this morning. Now to untangle the mess!

This is a great idea! I have more of a problem with all of my scarves...I think this would work to help organize my scarves too. I've got the clothespins so I'm going to give it a try. Thanks!!!

Great idea...I have mine on peg racks because I have so many, but I would prefer to keep them in my closet...might try this, too

I love Real Simple... they have great ideas that are easy. I'm very impressed with your necklace storage solution. Are you going to try Art Friday on Christmas or skip a week? My email is on my profile.

What a smart solution! I just got rid of my jewelry armoire and have been figuring out how I'm going to store my larger necklaces. I loved the storage of the armoire, but I've had it since I was a teenager and it needed to go. This is a great idea.
