Remembering the Beach

Welcome !

I love the beach, but living in the Midwest, we are blessed to visit once a year, if that! For the past two years we have had the privilege of spending a treasured week with my extended family on Top Sail Island, N.C..

With this Table Scape, I would love to share a bit-o-beach with you.

Come and enjoy a relaxing Beach Tea with me.

The beautiful glass cake stand, glasses, salad plates and bowls are from a set that were gifted to me when my Grandma moved from her home to live full time with my Mom.

I find them so delicate and feminine.

The glass "candle holders" are really glass coasters, also a hand-me-down from Grandma.

My china came from my Aunt. It is marked with a M Japan. The pattern is 3541 Georgiana.

My tea spoons are very precious gifts from my mom. Whenever she travels out of the country she will bring back beautiful tea spoons from her trips as gifts for my sister and me. Each spoon is unique in style. This collection has grown over the years and we currently enjoy them each morning as we stir our creamer into our coffee!

The shells are from our trips to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

I have those same glass coasters & still use them!! I like how you used your cake plate to raise your candle holder. I always forget about making different levels...thanks for the reminder.

Dee Dee--I needed a little beach reminder today--wish I were back there! I love the hurricane on top of the cake plate. It makes a lovely centerpiece! You are very fortunate to get such treasures from your grandmother!

Your dishes are so lovely with the little pink roses. I love that you used the seashells as a centerpiece. This is such a sentimental table setting.
